Articulations & Wonder

"Spacetime tells matter how to move; matter tells spacetime how to curve." - John Wheeler

Language is a way of organizing a mind. Organize a mind into wonder and emotion, and out flows a poem. Organize a mind into a puzzle, and out flows an essay that presents some form of solution. And so on. I inhale life and exhale creations. Sometimes life presents me with something so complex that the only thing I can possibly exhale is a book. Currently, I am developing Love Letters to the Lonely, a book that explores the interplay of loneliness and interconnection. I also write Love Letters to Humanity, a Substack newsletter that offers love in an era of growing iniquity and suffering. I wrote The Cantigee Oracle as a gentle offering for artists and mystics facing climate chaos, and I wrote floating bones in response to my experiences of being unhoused in a country where some people own giant homes, some own multiple homes, some live in tiny homes, and others have no home at all.
